Dr. Rathan Shetty is a highly experienced Senior Consultant in Head & Neck Surgical Oncology with extensive expertise in the surgical management of complex benign and malignant diseases of the oral cavity, larynx, hypopharynx, thyroid, salivary glands and skull base. He is widely recognized for his evidence-based, function-preserving and multidisciplinary approach to cancer care, with a strong emphasis on oncologic safety, precision surgery and improving patients’ quality of life.
With advanced training from premier oncology institutions and over a decade of experience in head and neck cancer surgery, Dr. Shetty specializes in treating a wide range of head and neck cancers using modern surgical techniques. His expertise includes minimally invasive endoscopic surgery, transoral laser surgery, robotic surgery, thyroid surgery and skull base surgery, enabling effective tumor removal while preserving critical functions such as speech, swallowing and facial appearance.
Dr. Shetty provides comprehensive head and neck oncology services, including cancer screening, biopsy, FNAC, diagnostic endoscopy, management of swallowing and voice disorders, postoperative rehabilitation and long-term cancer surveillance.
